i like were you're going with the arcade pic at left, I say develope that into a language on the inside. Maybe abstract things more. use the video game imagery to define your grid. and type?
Not so sure of the images wiith the 'arrows pointing up', maybe if you played with the crop to energize it but the concept isn't quite there. Too obvious. Dirty it up a bit.
Is this a one color job?
