typo - you are approaching legendary status in the type stakes generally so i reckon i'm not communicating what i'm after clearly!
what i need to do is take an interesting bold sans add the exterior drop shadow, create the fine engraved lines inside but with a clear area to the outline and then add the interior drop shadow - basically combine examples 1 and 2 i provided in another font.
f8in hell i'm boring myself now! but any more ideas - how to create the irregular faint lines in illy???
