How to get a job:
1) Pick up phone. Dial up a long lost industry "friend" and/or friend.
2) "Hey man. I haven't seen you in SO long"
3) "Let's grab a drink sometime. Let's catch up"
4) Do not mention your lack of work until much later in the night.
5) After rebonding, he'll offer to lend a hand if they hear anything, or possibly make a few phone call.
6) Repeat.
