    How sophisticated do you want your actor to be able to interact with the composited graphics?

    1) If you need supporting text to sync up with your video.
    - Then make sure you encode your video properly so that there is no sync issues with the frame rate. And do your titling/ text in flash.

    2) If there is some sophistication to the movements and how the actor interacts with the text, then...
    - Shoot green screen.
    - Composite in After Effects (or any of the other compositing programs)

    I know this was a cryptic response, and short to boot. But do you understand where I am getting at?
