One of my dads friends used to fly Apache's in the Army Specail Forces and now he is a Doctor that is in the Guard.
If you want to go into the armed forces, I would recommend going into the Nation Guard because the chanses that you will be shipped out are very low and you can keep the job you have now. You only have to go in to the "base" like 30 hrs a month.
I would do it. Its extra cash and you have bragging rights ;-0
