his eyes are more of a hazel right? blue eyes in white cats are genetically deaf.
if the right eye is blue the left ear is deaf, and vice versa. if both eyes are blue you have a deaf cat.
my old roomie's white cat gave birth to an all white litter. 2 of the cats had blue eyes and both were deaf. the other 4 cats had green and hazel eyes and were both ok.
