PonyBoy - man I almost think you're anti-science!
Look - the probe was slightly smaller than a residential dishwasher (American size, not Euro or Japanese size...). The comet is aprox. the size of Manhattan. We didn't blow anything up. Blowing something up would imply explosives - sure, sure you got the physics of one mass hitting each other at a certain velocuty, blah, blah..but we were like a gnat falling onto a water buffalo here...it kicked up some dust and whatnot...
And you're "How many people has NASA killed..." thing was funny...
Gee how many people died sailing across the ocean to get somewhere else? Oh! Thousands! Probably not worth it then..better ot stay in our little medieval huts and throw dirt on ourselves..
Gee we only got to the freaking moon a few times.
