call the team ticket office and see if they have a 'gift certificate' type-o-plan so the person getting the gift can make their own decision.
but.. now that I think about it - if you're buying ballgame tick's... you're probably buying them for a fan of the team, so find out what teams are the main teams rivals and just buy those tickets... you usually can't go wrong there (just make sure they have a month or so before the game so they can plan accordingly).
what tickets were you thinking about buying me? :)
