from what I can see - it feels like the content area is going to be 'under designed'... I just feel like it's going to be a big block w/text and that's it...
... the fact that you have the 'scratchy' stuff is cool... but I think it's far from balanced as far as composition. Tie that in to the content area ever so slightly... it's too harsh of a box in the main content area.
