that was quick! didn't you just go back to perth recently? how is it there anyways? much work around?
i think it's always better to go for jobs directly rather than through recruitment agencies. even better, don't even wait for jobs to be advertised, do your research and approach the design agencies you'd like to work for BEFORE they advertise.
Something like 75% of jobs never get advertised, and everyone is going for the 25% of jobs that do, so it does pay to approach companies even if nothing has been advertised. Also it shows initiative and that you really want to work for that particular company as you will have singled them out.
