I've tried clearing the cache. Safari keeps an icons cache seperate from the regular cache. I cleared that also... No luck.
the favicon.ico file has different sixed black and white and color versions of the icon from 1 bit 16x16 up to full color 48x48. For some reason Safari is showing the 1 bit b/w version.
Does anyone on a mac see a brown scribble instead?
