Trust me, fighting over oil access is nothing compared to the wars over water that will be coming down the pike...

(Jun 29 05, 13:19)Totally. Interesting you should say that, and I agree wholeheartedly, but of course, I'm a DUMM American. Even though, I wrote a paper on this circa 1993 as an undergraduate. Middle East has been fighting over water reserves for a while.
Another thing, if the US were so determined in going after oil, there are plenty of reserves off the face of Africa, by force, we could take them in a week. Nigeria is part of OPEC.
