Not very exciting. Are you a new grad?
The icons are a bit amateurish. Also the yellow outlines are way too bright, make them one pixel or get rid of them.
In the abouts page, the copy runs outside the image. I'm on a IE 5.1 on a MAC
I think you have really nice photo images. You need to exploit them and work on the layout, do some explorations. The site needs some work and refinement. Over all it's a good start.
