Nicely put in your extended post Tick. I think that Neo-Conservative is a much better term for the current administration than conservatives. My friends, many of whom are conservative on a bevy of issues, are thru the roof with dishonesty and what they see as a wholesale removal of fiscal convervatism from the GOP agenda. Many see the Neocons as willing to spend massive amounts on military contracts for Halliburton and zero on healthcare cost relief for small business.
As to the dead-horse point, true dat. But doesn't the crap Bush was shovelling beg a response to his policies?
