  I was using CFML with Allaire Studio in 1999. I stopped using it and haven't gone back to it, but Macromedia took it over and changed a few things. I think it does in fact combine with Macromedia Tools very well though, especially using Flash Remoting which allows for easier integration of Flash content with ColdFusion MX, MS.Net, Java, etc.
