kimou is first and foremost one of my best friends. he is a great father, a great friend, and extremely genuine. what i like about kimou is that his personality and his honesty show in his work. he is by far one of the most talented people i know - but also one of the most humble and honest and selfless. hes always looking out for friends. shit i have my job in no small part due to him.
its a matter of taste as well. maybe some people like it, some don't, etc... i can't say anything to that. he is where is because he has been working his ass off for over ten years - and he got all this attention after just putting his site up after all that time. not bad if you ask me.
sometimes its refreshing to see someone innovative and honest doing good work that shines on its own without being "hip" "cool" or "flashy" design. just well executed solutions to problems and an attention to craft. he gets my vote.
