I live in dublin, I'm considering starting a part-time masters in Digital Media (in D.I.T.) this year. I have a friend http://www.neonsoup.com/ finishing up this year, he said a lot of the stuff they teach is pretty basic, even down to photoshop skills, but It wouldn't turn me off 'cos most of the software I know I taught myself, and I reckon by now I can set myself more interesting briefs than most lecturers - I know my own capabilities - it's more about communicating with other designers and putting a focus on experimentation, rather than knocking stuff out a few days a month over a pint and a few spliffs 'cos I felt guilty having tuesday night pints or watching too much TV!
I just want to experiment with my own stuff, as I don't get too much chance to go wild with my own projects at work.
I think the facilities are good, but the lecturers ain't great, but don't quote me on that.

I have another friend who studied in Amsterdam for 3 years. He rates it really high, but they've turned him into a dutch stylist, even his sense of humour is very dutch! If that's your thing it's the only place to go.
A lot of people rave about Central St. Martins in London, i'm sure you've heard about it!
If I was minted I'd move to new york and bribe myself into Coopers Union!
good Luck
