One time my friend and I decided to make a fake rip of our site, just to document how long it would take until someone noticed, and what people's reactions were, etc.
It was pretty funny, because a lot of people didn't believe we made the rip up and were angry at us for copying another site, even though we owned the other site. No one ever believes you if you tell them you were just 'testing' something.
