Update: I got the samples today and am blown away by the level of detail. Seriously, some of the die cutting is less than 1 point in thickness. Some samples are even halftone images but all the dots are holes. Amazing. There is some scorching, but I would imagine it depends on the paper or plastic surface - more cotton, more scorch. None of the coated or plastic samples have scorching - it is only noticable on white paper. Contacting them now for more information about substrates and then I'll probably get something quoted. Again, good find.
