for whatever its worth, i don't think conscious consumerism is a laughable matter at this point in the capital game
as cheesy as it sounds, there is a power to large amounts of people avoiding certain products
if you hit companies in the wallet, or tarnish their image publically they have to respond to remain afloat
just look at the stupid fucking McDonald's walnut salad ads all over billboards now
gimme a break ...
what we buy does matter tho
