discovergood story about discover. back in 00 i lost my job and had no income. i was basically living off my discover card. racked up 10 grand. missed one payment so they jacked my rate. in 03 i transfered half the balance, then a qoarter of it to another card in late 03. finally paid off all of it after calling them 4 times over 3 years to PLEASE lower my rate. the phone calls lasted about 5 minutes each. 'i'm sorry sir there is nothing we can do at this time click'.
so in 04 i call to cancel the card. it was a 30 minute phone conversation. they would not let me go. fucking cock suckers. when i asked to lower the rate you fucked me, NOW you will do anything to keep me. they dropped the card to 0% interest as long as i could keep a $50 minimum balance a month. i said no. she said 'sir this is basically cash right now, no interest and no fees, why don't you want this?' i said SPITE BITCH NOW CANCEL THE GOTDAMN CARD END OF CONVERSATION. in 2 seconds the card was cancelled, she confirmed and hung up. haha. never ever again.
