you could drag the folder from (Username>Music>Itunes>) to your desktop and then with itunes open drag them over into the app. itues will then copy all the files back where they should be. of course you end up with 2xall the songs and have to delete the desktop versions. it may not answer your problem though. sorry if it's no help.
