question:
i have an ibook. normaly when you plug an external monitor in you can only run 1024x768 and its a mirrored monitor.
so i installed a hack and the monitor that i currently have goes up to 1280x1024.
my question. if i get an apple 20 or23 inch monitor will the ibook let me run the max resolution? will it recognize what monitor it is and let me run the 1600 by whatever? it would suck if i dropped the 800 and i can't run it at it's highest resolution.
any ideas?
