Let me say I was a sceptic as well.
I used to live in this 18 unit apartment complex in Encinitas CA that used to be a motel in the 40's-50's. There was a fire there and several people died, including a fireman.
every now and again my cats would freak out , but nothing big. but one time they were so scared they both didn't come out from under the bed for a week. While I was trying to coax them out the light in the bedroom went off. So I turned it back on and figured it was left half way on or something, as I walk back to coax the cats out again. the light turns off again. so I turn and say " so your the one who keeps scaring my cats"The light turned back on and my front door opens and slams the cats came out like everything was ok...
My cats have never acted the way they did in that palce.
All of the neighbors had similar stories including a big burly guy that felt like something went through him and he was so scared that he was brought to tears.
