Our tecchy guy, Tony who sorts our studio out says not to use Norton as it writes it's own language/code onto your system and poor old Mr mac get's all confused or something like that.
I have run Norton on osx, just for the laugh, to see what happens.
It says it's found problems and asks 'do you want to fix them?'
Reply: Fix All.
If you run Norton agin, immediately after, the same problems are identified.
I'm no Sherlock Holmes, but I suspect that Norton hadn't fixed the 'problems' at all.
Better of verifying disk permissions once a week and wipe your disk and re-install evey six months (or less if you thrash it!!) and everything should be tickety-boo!
