i think the easiest way is to fly-
here is some info on this page describing taking the train- sounds like it would take 2 days with a stop in phnom pehn. i was surprised at how expensive the flights were considering how close the countiries are together. you might have a better shot at getting a good fare if you wait til you get to bangkok and go to koh san road and shop around there.
