fate... the character ventures into a enourmous, self generating online world. Using virus logic, the world and AI continue to expand through several generations. Though time in the game is based on the real world clock, the difference engine can produce predctions based on novelity and patterns in the world, likewise it learns to avoid patterns and breed chaos by recognizing them.
The players in the game evolve to a point where they themselves can create new games. At any given time you can shoe into your character and take over control from a termnal. Otherwise you can set the level of reliance your character has on you from sending you emails and SMS asking questions or for permission to do certain tasks every few minutes to every few months.
And you should take Jalines advice on the journal. If worse comes to worse and someone snoops it, you might find it funny if they take it out of context and don't know it's a game you were talking about.
