"I tell you the truth, whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me HAS eternal life and will not be condemned; he has crossed over from death to life."
-----------------------------What's interesting is if you diagram this passage in the greek, the word translated "has" indicates immediate possession. The moment belief in Christ happens, eternal life is bestowed. :)
