Discipler,
I am a devout Catholic. I have read the Bible front to back many times over, and turn to it in some of my darker times. I have studied it in college in both a literay and historical context.
I HATE how born agains like yourself interpret the Bible and spread division and hatred. I am aware of what and how I quote and would be happy to discuss biblical passages and cultural contexts with you all day. You would lose, but never admit you learned anything.
My favorite Old Testament book being that of the Book of Job which really is God telling a bunch of humans that they are arrogant to even begin to assume what His plan is, yet people of your ilk continue to be happy and have some degenerate NEED to preach and control in the name of god.
Even the Sermon on the mount tells us not to take that in vain and use a simple Yeso r No. Your need to invoke God's name and the Bible at every turn is sad.
I'm done with this nonsense. Don't know why I bother.
