with my old dog, we were gonna try the "fancy" food. You know, the chicken bits are shaped like a drumbstick, the beef in the shape of a steak, the liver in the shape of a liver. He dove right in, ate a mouthful and then started picking out the liver pieces (i know, by smell, i'm not silly enough to think it was the shape that told him which were the liver ones) and dropping them out of the bowl before he ate more of it.
