As much as im not really into Starbucks coffee or their other publicized "ethical" coffee, I do believe they are a great employer. Their extremely flexible for employees who can submit a sheet saying when they want to work. Its a great place for students to work for this reason. They also really give their employees the feeling that they are really part of the company, not to mention fair pay, benefits and stock sharing.
