    I don't get it... please forgive my ignorance, but why do you guys think it is strange that they are affiliated with femalepersuasion?

    Because Female Persuasion is a site aimed at empowering women and design. They seem more 'safe' than linking to Suicide Girls. Then again, their text on the splash page says: 'The original site founded for political + provocative female artists'
