what you guys are missing is that in any 3rd world/developing country, kids are innocent and 99% of the time (minus crazed African kid soldiers) are tame. Even in wartime, they're inquisitive and don't really have anything going on or better to do than take time to see someone that's differerent, even if it's an invading soldier. That US soldier was being nice with them you can tell by their smiles. "Hey kid, want a lollipop or chocolate?" It's not all hate guys.
