stem, it's much more than just a single jet.
Countries that contain oil fields such as Nigeria (OPEC member) and various other West/West Coast African countries (Gabon for example) are as corrupt as it gets. Huge companies like Shell and Elf oil give absurd amounts of money to those countries, not really caring where it goes. There is no accountability. Or there wasn't, but a lot of those companies are changing their tune as of late.
They found 20 Million US dollars in one of the Nigerian Military leaders' closet alone in 1999. Poisoned, dead.
Laurent Kabila of the DRC (Congo Kinshasa/Zaire) was an evil bastard too. I think his son helped poison or shoot him. Dead.
