probably, apple say that they are not happy with ibm because they don't develop / research enough. and intel does. that's what apple says anyways. and everyone here goes like OMG! OMG! OMG! WTF?!? running around like headless chickens either thinking that macs and pcs will be the same (?) and/or that everyone has to upgrade their software when they get a new mac with an intel chip. pure speculations. no one knows really knows at this stage, except a couple of ceo's over at apple and intel. it could very well be that intel picks up the powerpc / risc architecture chip and makes it even better. so until that day i'm like whaaatever. but pleae spare me yet another omg omg apple goes intel thread.
