thats funny, I knew a cat thatwas the same way. you could do anything to her, toss her around, place her on high shelves, jump out at it... it would walk on the thin ledge 15 stories above the street. But the second you put air onto it , it freaks out and looks at you in a serious "how could you do such a thing to me" look. I could never figure it out, but it's funny.
