i can't be bothered to read all the prev banter..
so if no one has mentioned already, the transfer papers that you can buy and run through an inkjet work pretty good for stuff like letters.. just trim your print tight around the letters leaving 1/4" or so, to ensure it bonds well.
* also you need to work with light-ish colored tees... white yellow orange etc.
i'd recommend the Canon paper.. i've tried a few brands... seems to work best.
