Biography
Director's Office - Provides the central leadership and administration for the Institute and is often the initial point of contact for clients and the general public
Office of Administration - Coordinates all Institute internal business related to finances, information technology, and facilities management
Special Initiatives/Functions - Activities or functions have a distinct focus and may involve different divisions within the Institute, other university units, or other institutions of higher education or government
Office of Publications and Communications - Through materials in local government offices, classrooms, and community organizations throughout the state--as well as in the hands of legislators--publications are one way the Institute reaches into the lives of all Georgians.
Community and Regional Development Division - Seeks to help Georgia's local and regional communities anticipate and plan for growth and other impending changes
Governmental Services Division - Provides technical assistance to state and local officials on diverse policy, management, and operational issues
Governmental Training, Education, and Development Division - Dedicated to providing quality customized training and consultation to elected officials and practitioners in state and local government and to their boards and authorities through an innovative approach
International Center for Democratic Governance - Works to build the governance capacity of emerging democracies, emphasizing the development of participatory, responsive, transparent, and efficient governments
