Says who?
- utopian4
- still better than syria thosarahfailin
- I wonder if converting the refugees to a more mellow religion would help?? I bet they would take up the offer for jobs, money and an apt.robotron3k
- wtf has Germany ever done to Syria or the Middle East in the last relavant political frame, other than support?detritus
- ah i misunderstood the context. these attacks were all carried out by refugees. 4 outta 800,000 ain't bad.sarahfailin
- ^tell that to all the families who have lost loved onesPonyBoy
- not that it matters but mall shooter was born and raised in germanylowimpakt
- yes it matters. not for the family of the dead. but to the discussion I guess.oey
- I mean, at least for me.oey
- It does matter. People will be keeping tabs on this for a long time. If it happens that some refugee does something truly horrible, it'll come back to hauntformed
- those that supported them.formed
- Good guy terrorist: knows germany has nothing to do with syrian misery - axe kills some chinese.mekk

The actual map of refugee-related incidents in Germany.
Browse all with descriptions and links to their respective news reports:
- Are these all Muslim related incidents?utopian
- Ich kann nicht Deutsch sprechen, tut mir leid.shaft
- this map includes attacks on camps, fights or theft between refugees. Not every flag is an axe murderer. Refugee crime rate is the same as average in germany.mekk
- Note: Actual crime rate is actually lower because majority of 'crimes' is illegal stay.mekk
- As I clicked through, it's various stuff, including burglaries, minor brawls and e.g. an under two years old child rape if I understood.shaft
- what about acts of kindness, teaching others, and greater cultural understanding? are those indicated on the map too? everyone commits crimes...sarahfailin
- @sarahfailin I guess it does not outweigh the crimes/rapes etc that are happening right now.sureshot

"Refugees responsible for tiny proportion of sex crimes in Germany despite far-right claims following Cologne attacks
Most crimes committed by migrants in 2015 were theft, counterfeiting and travelling on public transport without tickets
---"- Interesting no one single comment section below the article actually believe this article. And claim quite the opposite statistics.robotron3k
- You should do a course on statistics. UDacity offers a good one for free: https://www.udacity.…Khurram
- Inferential Statistics is a good one: https://www.udacity.… It'll help you understand all those numbers!Khurram

Syrian Suicide Bomber Behind German Music Festival Attack pledged allegiance to ISIS leader
Bomber was a Syrian refugee and his asylum application was rejected
- Morning_star0
It's interesting and probably a reflection of the 'Wests' great modern dilemma but the prejudice and collective blame that's created then projected onto specific groups, by the media, society and civil authorities, is a fundamental and huge part of the problem.
Seen through a less polarising filter, each of these acts of violence has its own story and perspective yet the lengths that the media go to, to link them all back to one primary cause is untruthful, lazy and divisive.
And the fucking horror of it all is that we believe it.

- politics creates a narrativesince1979
- american cops, young black men? i can clear that one up for you in a couple of side notes. there are always primary causes. to suggest that there aren't is untrterry_cloth
- -uthful, lazy and divisive. mostly lazy though. are you prepared to throw your hands up in defeat and chalk it all up to coincidence? that would be rediculousterry_cloth
- here, let me make this clearer for you, when young black men commit a hugely disproportionate amount of crime, you would have to be some kind of intilectual acrterry_cloth
- -obat to manage to avoid addressing that apparent disparity. the same applies to the islamic terrorism. how long are you going to blame everyone but the groupsterry_cloth
- perpetrating these horrors. are the facts racist m_s? is that all you've got? it's all propaganda?terry_cloth

whats a nice, modern, small country that would be a good place to refuge to?
- monoboy0
The Munich shooter was a right-wing extremist obsessed with Breivik.
Because of his Iranian descent, it was broadcast initially as Islamic terrorism. Bojo included.
A lot of these incidents involve individuals that are either born or bona fide citizens of the countries they are attacking. So it has little to nothing to do with the immediate influx of refugees.
These are nearly all second generation immigrants.
So what's really motivating them?
- Ignorance, injustice, low self esteem, lack of opportunity, racism, oppression, stupidity...Morning_star
- No shit.monoboy
- being on gods side is what ultimately justifies pulling the trigger.hotroddy
- Which god would that be? Hindu, Sikh, Muslim, Jewish, Christian, Bhuddist. Anders Breivik was an Odinist or Pagan.Morning_star
- historically - all of themhotroddy
- 4 out of 6 of m_s's reasons for going on a rampage are society having failed. there is nothing more dishonest than blaming peoples personal actions on shadowyterry_cloth
- 'systemic injustice'. m_s can't make up it's mind on whether or not personal responsibility is worth a damn. hey, i can boil your dumbass list down to one pointterry_cloth

a simple blame hierarchy
1. the person/people who committed the crime
2. those who directly supported this person/people
3. those in whose name or who directed this person (e.g. ISIS)
4. those who created the conditions for this 'director' to existfocussing blame on all 1.8 billion muslims or all refugees is missing the point.
It's worth not losing sight of the fact that France last year declared war with ISIS and the ISIS playbook specifically aims to target the "grey zone" in order to divide normal muslims from everyone else.
- +1 but on the flip side, people also need to stop making excuses for homicidal psychopathsterry_cloth

- lol, they can move back if they wantGeorgesII
- The grass is not always greener and some people are ungrateful pricks. Your point.Morning_star
- It's easy to form am instant opinion on this but they're just normal human beings. They're entitled to want to live somewhere they like...set
- Ungrateful entitled cunts.chukkaphob
- ... and to have opinions on the place they've been moved to. You have to remember that Syria was a nice place to live, before.set
- Aaaaah, the reality that doesn't fit the liberal PC narrative. Strikes like that lightning: http://www.qbn.com/r…chukkaphob
- And no fucker wants to live in Scotland.set
- they are unhappy...become suicide bombersutopian
- I would rather live on Bute than a rancid shithole like London.face_melter
- lol, Arabs trying to learn English from a Scot!!! the perfect Anti-Terrorism program!!! who need drones!robotron3k
- jesus..the nerve on those people..sureshot
- London's only a rancid shit hole because so many people aren't from here and don't give a shit about the place. *shrug*detritus
- If your home was war torn and you emigrated somewhere, would you feel you were strictly not allowed to have negative opinions of the new place?set
- I suggest your moral compasses are fucked because of the anti- muslim/middle east/arab propaganda of the last few decadesset
- +1 for set.
although it's out of his usual cuntish character.pango - anti-muslim prpaganda ? holly shit ! so Paris, Munich, Nice, are propaganda ?gonzalle
- In Uruguay, the families stated that prices were too high. Two of them had 15 kids. 15 KIDS!maquito
- and btw... if i don't like the place where I was welcomed; I still have the option to shut up.gonzalle
- Uruguayan gov. payed $1.000 per month, for 2 years, for each one of the families. However, they left and showed 0 gratitude.maquito
- I don't care about your culture, beliefs, etc. Gratitude is something morally correct to show when a country picks you and your 15 kids from a pile of dog shit.maquito
- @gonzalle I've learnt from my mistakes engaging with apparent morons, not to bother.set
- @maquito how do you know they showed zero gratitude. In that first article alone it says they're grateful and that they praise the Scottish peoplt..set
- .. and that the country is beautiful.set
- They have every right to feel unhappy. You have no idea what their life is like there. To suggest they HAVE to be happy there is moronic.set
- me thinks set is playing the devils advocate on this one having voiced his discontent about 'londonistan' in the past. ii can see both sides of this, good for tterry_cloth
- -hem for at least desiring to assimilate at all, so many mass emigrations form disconnected little pockets within societies. as with all things, it's a two wayterry_cloth
- streetterry_cloth
- set : Point for you. As you don't have any more argument, insult was the better option you had. But may be, shutting it up might be a better option (?)gonzalle
- what the hell is wrong with set?sureshot
- Because you don't agree? You think they absolutely must be happy regardless of circumstance, just because they've been granted a home? Wankersset
- They "miss-quoted" the translation. What they actually said was the area was full of old people. It's a retirement meccarosko_picachu
- Get the fuck back to your country Syrian losersi_was

god forbid that americans should have to be refugees to europe. we'd tear that place apart.

A lot of refugees in Holland are complaining too.
No wifi. No money for cigarettes, no airo etc etc. its unbelievable.- Before I come a cross as a racist. I actually teach Dutch to 3 Syrian dudes my age. But they work hard, study etc. Good people.sureshot
- how many is "a lot"?lowimpakt
- & how many are not complaining?lowimpakt
- why do you want to know? I wouldn't know the exact number behind the comma. What difference does it make anyway.sureshot
- maybe it's what the human traffickers told them about the promised land.uan
- if you say it's "a lot" then you should have a rough idea of how many. otherwise your comment is meaningless.lowimpakt
- @lowimpakt.ok then its meaninless.sureshot
