i clicked a link on a forum that lead me to a video of the aftermath, its totally horrible... i have no word... bodies everywhere, very gore. I'm afraid lots of videos and photos will start to pop since everyone were filming the celebration over there. There's videos of the truck driving thu the crowd too.

    • Keep sticking your head in the sand buddy.Hayoth

now the AJ theory is, that this is a right wing false flag attack to provoke attacks on mosques

    • When it happens in iraq it's USA's fault. They accept no responsibility.hotroddy

A French Ambassador said his/our deep sadness was shared with the people killed by Islamic Terrorists in Iraq (140 last week alone), Syria, Colorado, etc.

This is a shared threat and people who claim is it muslims versus everyone else need to cop the fuck on

    • read the entire thread, you're the only one saying this.. everyone knows muslims are the main victim of terrorism, stop panderingGeorgesII

"The attacker, a 31-year-old Tunisian-born Frenchman who lived in Nice, was known to the police for common crimes – including violence – but not to the intelligence services, a police source said.

No groups have claimed responsibility for the attack on Thursday, but the French president, François Hollande, said it was “terrorist in nature” and would be met by a show of “real force and military action in Syria and Iraq”.

I don't think this was a coordinated attack by ISIS. Deranged people began to do this for ISIS.
But how do ISIS promote itself to get sympathisers like this?

    • Lone wolf, moderm warfare, internet.
No need for a group or a leader.
      You're your own leader.

    • Sad, but that is the genius of it.ApeRobot
    • Everybody is a suspect now.ApeRobot
    • A show of real force and military action in Syria and Iraq. Well, fuck you Hollande.oey
    • One French dude does this. And France is gonna bomb Iraq. Like in Iraq they don't have enough of this already.oey
    • yep how can you defeat an enemy that operates alone... impossible. And using a vehicle as opposed to bombs AK's etc.fadein11
    • I feel for the victims and families but this hollande and all like him can go fuck themselves.oey
    • The sad truth is that bombing the middle east will radicalise more muslims.Morning_star
    • https://www.theguard…oey
    • The guy was French...why don't they go bomb fucking France? Bomb the Middle East and case solved. Grrrr!oey
    • Bombing the East is one of the main reason ISIS is attack the West... they keep asking this to stop otherwise they will never stop.Bennn

I'm so tired of all that 'terrorists' shit... Have you ever tought of how much places it takes in our lifes? We're stuck with this since 9-11 ... it's been 15 years.. 15 years that we're in this spiral of violence. Who started it all? Who's responsible for all that shit?

    • <D4W33D
    • this spiral of violence has been going on for decades, 9-11 was just another event in a long list that spans beyond the short term thinking of 'those in charge'Bluejam

''Former U.S. Military Official Says George W. Bush Created ISIS''
'In the early 2000s, America made some 'dumb' decisions, he says.'

    http://www.usnews.com/news/artic…

'''We were too dumb. We didn't understand who we had there at that moment. When 9/11 occurred, all the emotions took over, and our response was, "Where did those bastards come from? Let's go kill them. Let's go get them." Instead of asking why they attacked us, we asked where they came from. Then we strategically marched in the wrong direction. '''

    • another interesting article: http://www.newyorker…Bennn
    • US also backed al qaeda to fight the ruskies in cold war... 9/11 was significant because of its scale but this shit has been ongoing for decades.fadein11
    • Tackling the Palestine issue would be a big step forward but that won't happen because Israel... is Israel, say no more.fadein11
    • That general wasn't aware of the big picture, he wasn't part of the plan, lol.Maaku
    • Hillary voted for the dumb decision... Trump spoke out against it... ...WHAT'S MY POINT??!

Something similar happened last year in Graz when we were there for the F1. When we came back in the evening there were hundreds of candles in doors of shops etc, lots of people crying... Turned out earlier some guy had driven an SUV through cafe tables, pavements, market square, hitting people. It was kept so quiet though we couldn't find out anything about it and nobody I've spoken to even heard about it.

    • This has happened twice in my hometown. Rich white college kids drive cars into crowds at UCSB. It's so fucked up. :(monospaced
  • IRNlun62

It's the Saudi Salafi, and their global influence from the control of the worlds majority oil production. Western support, Globalist open-border policy, forced multiculturalism, and the complete media and public denial of the overwhelming influence from Salafists on the Islamic culture worldwide.

    • overwhelming influence?monospaced
    • Iranian mullahs are no peaceniks either. Pointing to ISIS makes the problem appear much more manageable than the real scale of the issue.IRNlun6
    • not really it's just radicalised lone wolves - no chance of stopping it.fadein11
    • I doubt any of the recent attacks in the last year were ordered from the top... just individuals and small groups off their nut on religion.fadein11
    • Yes, they're the most conservative, wealthy and influential group with the power to dominate any culturally enlightened muslims world wide.IRNlun6
    • ISIS aren't lone wolves, Al Qaida, Al-Nusra, Boko Haram, etc.. etc.. all influenced by the same conservative ideology.IRNlun6
    • The truck driver was a Salafist?monospaced
    • they're brainwashed on the internet progaganda.. so in a way, it comes from the topBennn
    • oh you muppet - I didn't say ISIS are lone wolves... I am saying there are a lot of individuals inspired by ISIS with little or no connections.fadein11
    • none of this is new anyway, every generation thinks today is worse than before - rewind to the 1970's.fadein11
    • He was a sunni, and France is a major target for their push for integration by banning face veils and closing extremist mosques.IRNlun6
    • It's the Salafi. [insert a select few gripes which are factors that inspire attacks off top of head]... Oh, why do the media deny its all the Salafis' fault...kingsteven
    • @IRN - yes, we know this, not to mention the pile of shite comic Charlie Hebdo which enjoyed agrovating the situation for years in the name of free speech...fadein11
    • You're right, this isn't new, but their power and influence allows it to spread unchallenged. Their faith is their connection, clearly not shared by all.IRNlun6
    • If this is the case, then there's no real hope of stopping anything, I worry. It's not exactly a straightforward task eliminating a system of belief.monospaced
    • nope... and also an enemy you cannot target as can be anywhere and not connected to a group - just an ideology.fadein11
    • and use everyday vehicles to kill 84 people... ugh. so depressing...fadein11
    • Call it for what it is. Don't allow it because tolerance. Forbid certain schools from practicing. Don't allow it to be representative of the entire faith.IRNlun6
    • Cultural enlightenment has and will happen again. It sure as shit doesn't help that the West does everything in it's power to deny the source.IRNlun6
    • disenfranchised, poor, low educated people will always latch onto something that they think gives meaning to their life.fadein11
    • Do yourselves a favour and listen to this below. The mindfuck complexity of the situation in the middle east is explained (as far as it ever could be). It's...Morning_star
    • ...depressing to consider that whatever is done will be largely ineffective. https://soundcloud.c…Morning_star
    • Many are also relatively wealthy, educated Westerners. Their current success in recruiting is largely due to their very well produced propaganda.IRNlun6
    • And believe me it's not lost on me how challenging confronting an ideology is.IRNlun6
    • Every time globalists want to smash the hornets nest for a regime change just makes their propaganda all the more powerful and more effective.IRNlun6
    • You seem to know a lot of specifics about the Salafi. I don't know much at all, but it seems contrary to their beliefs to be western, educated and wealthy.monospaced
    • Mono, It's all cool as long as you're a man.Morning_star
    • How are you coming across "very well produced," powerful and successful Salafist propaganda in the first place?monospaced
    • It will keep getting worse until we, as a society, determine where the lines are online. I truly believe all these live videos will push so many to becomeformed
    • "famous". How easily it is to share horrible things is going to make for some terribly things everyone will see, live. Surprised it hasn't happened yet.formed
    • Gross oversimplification, but spreading ideologies among humans is nearly impossible to do without wealth, power or influence.IRNlun6
    • As enraging, hurtful, or influential communication can be, forcing ourselves to censor is the worst thing we can do.IRNlun6
    • Many of the commanders of ISIS were trained by Russian and German Special forces during the 80s. This includes 'very well produced' propaganda techniques.Morning_star
    • Mono, twitter is an amazing source to follow people who track and translate the propaganda. ISIS and their supporters are actually very active on social media.IRNlun6
    • You are able to find and follow influential, successful well produced Salafist propaganda on twitter? I don't use twitter, so this seems a bit surprising to me.monospaced
    • Mono, it was a surprise to me too but the 'medieval religious simpletons' stereotype is non existent. They have very, very sophisticated social media...Morning_star
    • ...strategies and the knowledge to deliver it. Again, you can look at the training the Iraqi Baath Party had in the 90s and naughties from the Germans and RussMorning_star

    • If you can't disagree without childish name calling then I really have nothing more to say to you.IRNlun6
  • CygnusZero4-2

I love it when morons say retarded shit like "the world is so fucked up now". Uhhhhh you do realize it used to be far worse than this, correct? 100s and 1000s of years ago regions would completely wipe out other regions just to take their land. The worst is tame as hell now.

Bozos think the world has only existed for the last 50 years or so. Shit, it was way fucking worse during WW2. The world is a great place to live in now! So ISIS kills a few people here and there. This is not even remotely close to as bad as things have been back throughout human history.

    • *world is tame nowCygnusZero4
    • Tru, but then how one would solitary nutter in your midst easily kill 80+ people in less than a few minutes back in the old days?detritus
    • pretty sure if you rewind through time, as effective killing technology declines, it's countered by an increasing trust in 'those in charge'Bluejam
    • hence if King WhatshisFace (from 1700s) says I'm gonna hang 80 people right now, he fucking well willBluejam
    • but he had to be a king, not some lumpen fuckwit with an overly-simplified view of the world and access to a lorry.detritus
    • "We're all kings now". Well, except mono who's evidently a bit of a queen.detritus
    • 'Kings' of today can press a button and wipe out entire cities or countries, should they wish.detritus
    • Just wait 15-25 years til we have our first genetics student with a homelab decide they want to make their mark on the world.detritus
    • It's fucked up because we've advanced pretty fast in the last 150 years in many things, not only technology, but we still behave like the animals we were...Maaku
