I have worked for healthcare, banking and universities for the first half of my life... That work really bores me... I find great joy in working on things I am passionate about. Categories like sports and videogames... And will continue to do so. I have made "money"... In Portland right now, it's FEAST or FAMINE... You're either working at Nike making 100K+ or waiting tables down the street. The average rent in PDX is $1,250 and the average "temp design gig I get sent weekly" is for 1 or 2 days of work. This is no "woe" is me story... It's a "I work hard", I have been in decent roles, I am pivoting and straying from the traditional design career path and have had both extreme highs and extreme lows. My career I guess you would say is bi-polar as of now.

Seriously... Some of you dudes are so toxic and so negative for "creatives" - it kinda makes me sick. I found my animator by the way... I'm gonna go work on videogame concepts now! Cheers.
