I'd love to see Tarantino make a relationship comedy, I think of Pulp Fiction in that way. He's good at the sexual tension and personal relationships. Also I'd like to see him go back to the style and attitude of Reservoir Dogs, just a simple raw plot. I'm hoping Hateful8 has a bit of that.

i doubt he'll ever retire, he seems like the type of guy that will release his final movie and say he's retiring then 10 months later announce a new movie in development. Its like he said a year ago hateful 8 was canceled because someone "leaked" the script... but here we are.
- And someone leaked the movie online before it was released in theaters but here we are.teh

Tarantino's retro/sub genre meaningless dialogue movies are so boring.

I thought it was bad ass. The slow pace worked perfect in the theater and made it entertaining. I like slower films though, I don't think the ADD crowd will like it. Also, not be great for multiple rewatches.
Loved it though.
ob the mexican was awesome!!!!
"can you prove it carbon!"

Started off good, the middle part right up until the Mexican dude was shot was good, then it fell off. Something about 75% of the movie being in one room didn't feel right. 3/5 stars.

Quentin Tarantino sued for 'hundreds of millions of dollars' over Django Unchained

oh man, i thought it was great. my only gripe was the narration that came out of nowhere around chapter 4 and the excessive "slowing down" effect he'd use while people were talking for no real reason.
- I thought the rewind/ narration touch was awesome (it was his voice btw)Miguex
- i liked the rewindscarabin
- actually i think i'm thinking of something elsescarabin
- saw it twice and didn't notice it was him, thanks for pointing it out Miguex. I loved that bit too, came at the perfect time if you're starting to feel the 3h.spl33nidoru

This is a pretty good interview:

I like a bunch of parts, but it felt too long, too much meandering conversations. Feels like Tarantino is out of ideas.

- nah, felt like Tarantino was having a good time within a more classical formatspl33nidoru

- yeah, I thought the amount of fresh ideas on his head keeps growing by the second...Miguex
- how do you harvest such an insane amount of fresh ideas like that all the time? its insaneMiguex
- you guys did see this movie, right? theres nothing unique about it! its been done before. BY HIM. lmaoCygnusZero4

Tarantino never fails to entertain. Not his greatest work, but I really enjoyed it. The audience were totally into it. Is a rare thing for a film to sell out purely because of the director/writer - we need more of this.
70mm felt like an event as well. And looked amazing.

Not his greatest, but still really good and worth seeing.
I give it 2.2/5
- probably what i would give it. not as good as most of his movies imo.CygnusZero4
