Looking at basic statistical curve it's obvious that majority of "nay" sayers above don't actually know what they are talking about - most likely they are blind and seeking ways how to stay blind. Still those few "nay" sayers above who actually know a thing or two indeed have a point. The original video is filled with information but much of it is slanted into very specific patterns of thinking. The biggest fallacy of the video is that we are somehow blindly lead by some secretive organization. Well, if you know a thing or two about the systems you will know that majority of people WILLINGLY follow the systems even if the systems propagates lies and falsities. So the issues is not "some evil superpower" but our own willingness to perpetuate our own "slavery." I put quotation marks around the term because ultimately it IS dependent on perspective. The blind willingly supporting its oppressive system is not only partially free but also reaping in the benefits of his/her support. It's the "enlightened" who has to make a moral judgement between supporting what is evil that is a slave as despite that knowledge he/she often still chooses to support the oppressive systems for their own selfish benefits.

Why is this not true?
The basic facts that Mr Fagan uses are essentially true. The politics and business interests of the era support that. These basic facts are the building blocks he uses to construct a plausible sounding argument for the influence and strategies necessary for an 'illuminati' to exist.
The problem with that big picture 'illuminati' solution is its only one of the possible options. Amongst others, a more likely big picture solution is that the hundreds of opposing agendas from countries and businesses across the globe make the result a bubbling stew of random events.
Much like Orions Belt, it is just perception. If you look at any cluster of stars you will be able construct any dot to dot image you require. You're kind of asking folks to prove a negative. Providing evidence that something doesn't exist is really difficult.
For example:
Theorist: "Prove George Washington wasn't gay."
Skeptic: "He had a wife!"
Theorist: "So? He could have been sucking his slaves dick. Prove he didn't."
