Ugh, this is just the worst. I'm so bummed. I think history will regard this show well. Stewart provided such terrific catharsis. Sad. Sad. Sad.

I'm pretty sure Stewart believes in what he says when he is, in fact, reporting on real news. Holy shit. It's a bunch of interns because they want to be there. Of course it's show business but I'd say it's more respectable than the right wing outlets for sure.
- he does not report... he makes fun of current events that are 'cool' to talk aboutPonyBoy
- sadly many get their news from JS2002
- Well, he does have to report on them first, so the audience understands the following comedy.ETM
- Not exactly indepth, but is there.ETM

what's wrong with unpaid interns?
- illegal2002
- unpaid.pango
- What do you mean illegal? Both US Federal, and NY state laws allow it.ETM
- Stop talking out your ass.ETM
- Intern should be an opportunity to learn and gain experience. but the current regulation allow employers to hire intern to do dumb labor work that you don't learn anything plus unpaid.pango
- dumb labor work that you don't learn anything plus unpaid. if it's not illegal yet then it should be.pango
- too much room for employer to exploit.pango
- why do you say it's illegal? what country are you from?Miguex
- He's from Bloombergmonospaced
- not illegal... pangy makes some valid points... I've watched clients / colleagues abuse the hell out of 'free labor' (interns)PonyBoy
- I did an unpaid internship at a major agency when I started, it's not even close to illegalmonospaced
- Heck I abuse my intern too. But I'm not the employer lol. Welcome to the real world grasshopper!!! Hehehehepango
- If they are students and get credit, it is not illegal. And if they willingly volunteer, it is not illegal. Companies aren't forced to pay everyone for everything.omahadesigns
