Pango sez: "...That's when he completely losses his moral."
That's the thing tho - i think this second episode highlighted some stuff that was made really clear in breaking bad: he actually tries to stick to legalities as much as he can.. i dont think he ever really abandons his morals.. when he does shit he knows is wrong he always expresses pretty clear remorse or at least 'discomfort'... I think if anything he dances in moral grey area, but he always makes sure there's one foot in 'the right'...
that's my impression from BB and from these first 2 AWESOME episodes.
Huge BB fan & fucking loving this show so far. I was worried it would be a campy variation of "The Office" type thing or something, but this far exceeds my expectations. It's like a perfect continuation of breaking bad.

I'm assuming i'm alone in thinking it was good, but a bit slow with filler?
I mean, its good but I wouldn't say amazing....not yet.
- breaking bad was slow with filler at timesdrgs
- Most times the filler becomes important way down the line. Patience. These writers know what they're doing.monospaced
- except for that fly episode in breaking bad...Milan
- nah, that scene made Jesse understand how perfect he had to be... to understand Walt's obsession and act on itmonospaced
- it was totally relevant, and good tv to bootmonospaced

A bit cheesy to bring in Tuco so soon.
- ii thought it was awesome! lol
what a luck he has.pango - if by cheesy you mean the most amazing thing that happened in the show, then, sure...Miguex
- I agree. He's a fucking cartoon character, and an unnecessary inclusion.e-wo
- how do you know how important will he be on the show if they only showed 2 episodes so far?Miguex
- ii thought it was awesome! lol

I'm going to guess his family or grand daughter runs into health or financial problem, thats when jimmy hooked him up.

This is probably going to sound strange but anyone notice how large Odenkirk's hands are? Dude gesticulates constantly and when he gets into it all I can think about is him judo chopping his way out of trouble. (The show has been excellent so far.)

I don't think they are related, she called them for something else, and they decided to re-visit mike. But she didn't rat on him or anything like that

So why did she stare at him last week and he explained everything and met her at the train station this week? Sequencing is weird.
- He showed up in town the day after her dead husbands partners were killed. He found her. It was so obvious.monospaced

So remember that weird chic on Walking Dead who convinced Rick to follow her into the woods to meet the head of her "dead" husband? I just totally recognized her on Better Call Saul. Mike's daughter-in-law...

The train part was before, when Mike got to Albuquerque right after killing the 2 cops. His daughter in law had already moved there, so she went to pick him up at the station. I don't know how much time passed since he arrived to this day, but all the others scenes with them in earlier episodes are between the arrival and the now.

Classic episode. Such clever writing skipping around and the tension was great. Seriously love this show at the moment.
