I'm drawing a blank right now, but what was Oswald's supposed reason for killing Kennedy?
- There are no credible reasons. This is one of the facts that people cite to support the conspiracy.Morning_star
- There is a very simple explanation. See my post below.CygnusZero4

probably won't be settled here or anywhere else but:
a documentary i watched recently pointed out two calibers of ammo used which is why the hole in his neck (the first shot) went straight through with a relatively small exit wound, and the second (hollow point) shattered the entire side of his head.
this evidence would suggest and support the theory that there were two shooters.
oswald could have easily fired either of those shots. as i recall he was a sniper/marksman so getting one of the 3 (or how many ever shots were fired) is possible. they had a few marksmen perform the same shot with a moving target at the same distance as oswald from the motorcade and they were able to pull off all shots.
don't think however he could have switched rifles that quickly after the first shot to get off the second and third shots and connect on the third. maybe but that would be some serious luck.
- maybe unless the other rifle was already propped up? still not easySteveJobs

Not sure why people say Oswald couldn't have made the shots from his vantage point (heard this a number of times)... I've stood in the plaza and have seen the angles... I'm pretty sure I would have a good chance at making the shot w/the exact same caliber / rifle and distance (and I'm a terrible shot).... it may take me a few more rounds but I could get 2-3 very close given the speed they were traveling... I def. know folks from my youth that could make the shots.
As for one shot exploding the head and the other going right through the neck— you could shoot the exact same head twice w/the same bullet / rifle in the exact same spot and get two very different results. I recall hunting as a kid and remember sometimes seeing the deer's head obliterated and sometimes completely intact w/a clean precise hole... ... your bullets can begin w/imperfections that alter it's travel etc, slight variation in wind / resistance, moisture etc etc... all variables in the final impact.
- interesting but those elements didn't change much over the course of a few seconds. maybe though.SteveJobs

The theory I like is that everyone who wanted to kill Kennedy happened to show up on the same day at the same location...Lee Harvey Oswald, the government, the Soviets, the mafia, the Cubans...and he was caught in a crossfire of about a dozen people, that's why he managed to get hit twice.

I still find it implausible, especially with the adrenaline, pressure etc etc, i mean it's not a rehearsal, you are performing under the pressure of attempting to assassinate the President of The United States. R.I.P JFK.

The derpy dude that was proven to have shot him, was miserable in his boring meaningless life and wanted to be something.
Love when conspiracy clowns make all kinds of shit up because they themselves are bored and want to believe theres more drama than there really is. Get a hobby you idiots!
