    Not sure why people say Oswald couldn't have made the shots from his vantage point (heard this a number of times)... I've stood in the plaza and have seen the angles... I'm pretty sure I would have a good chance at making the shot w/the exact same caliber / rifle and distance (and I'm a terrible shot).... it may take me a few more rounds but I could get 2-3 very close given the speed they were traveling... I def. know folks from my youth that could make the shots.

    As for one shot exploding the head and the other going right through the neck— you could shoot the exact same head twice w/the same bullet / rifle in the exact same spot and get two very different results. I recall hunting as a kid and remember sometimes seeing the deer's head obliterated and sometimes completely intact w/a clean precise hole... ... your bullets can begin w/imperfections that alter it's travel etc, slight variation in wind / resistance, moisture etc etc... all variables in the final impact.
