this piece shit of software, installed yesterday, now my bluetooth APPLE mouse and APPLE keyboard won't work with it.
fanboys like it or not, apple is the new windows.
- Don't know how to sync them?animatedgif
- just because you fucked up doesn't mean it doesn't support your apple bluetooth devicesmonospaced
- it is not a sync problem, it is a fucking known issue, just like the wifi dropping problem
chrisRG - The WIFI dropping issue was fixed months agofadein11

- I had issues with wifi too, but after the latest updates it works fine. Try updating to betazaq
- thanks @zaqBluejam
- Exact same situation here. Wifi up and down like a brides nightie. Switching off BlueTooth seemed to fix it for me. It's nonesense.monoboy

Had to downgrade to Java SE 6 in order to run Adobe Illustrator CS6. That was the slightest and only inconvenience I've experienced.

I'm trapped with a Java issue that won't let my illustrator CS6 run. Googled it, went through apple forums, and still can't find a solution.

i just upgraded my late 2009 (refurbished) 27"iMac (16gb). I was having artifact-creating errors using chrome and firefox and have switched to safari right now. "so far so luck". i know my machine is older, but man—wish I could upgrade my video card—but I don't trust myself. I'll have to wait until i get a 5k iMac then. ...

Congrats Apple, I updated to 10.10.3 last week, and now I have been alerted to another update just 4 days later.
- omg, a video driver supplemental update, how dare they!monospaced
- windows would never offer any small updates on a regular basis, amiright?monospaced
- Ha! Windows has updates every 1-2 weeks, though not all are "critical". In between there there is usually an Office "security" update.evilpeacock
- Please it has dozens of non critical updates every few days. Also this one OS X update wasn't critical either.monospaced

I know I'm beating a dead horse with this one, but... I was using Yosemite last night and the thing, aesthetically, is a fucking joke. The icons are awful and child like. The flat UI is anything but the slick and classic aesthetic apple were once known for, and the light weight helvetica is an amateur choice for on screen and doesn't work at all.
I still love my iMac and macbook running snow leopard, but I truly believe Apple's class died with Steve Jobs.
- Actually I'm running mavericks not snow leopard, which is great.set
- and I'll not even mention that for the price of an iPhone I can get a far superior Sony phone AND a tablet. All I need is a viable desktop alternative...set
- and I can fuck Apple off entirely.set
- ugh mavericks was shit.
snow leopard ftw. i dread the day i have to upgradehans_glib - Mavericks is running fine for meset

Monospaced mentioned having to update Java SE 6 in order for CS6 to perform properly. Are there any other issues with Yosemite that I should be aware before upgrading?
- it would be nice if the software we were installing would say shit like "update your Java" or summoldero
- err0
it still looks better than windows 8. I really wish someone would be smart and just release a barebones OS with a finder and control pannel. Ill install my own photo/email/browser
I use both windows 8.1 and yosemite and hate them both

Finally... I had to uninstall Java from my system first...
Following the steps listed will uninstall Oracle Java from your system using a Terminal.
Click on the Finder icon located in your dock
Click on Applications tab on sidebar
Click on the Utilities folder
Double-click on the Terminal icon
In the Terminal window, copy and paste the command:
sudo rm -fr /Library/Internet\ Plug-Ins/JavaAppletPlugin.pluginThen reinstall Java 8 from: https://support.apple.com/kb/DL1…
FUCK YOU APPLE AND ADOBE!
- Thanks mono:)organicgrid
- I didn't have to do all that but glad you got it fixed.monospaced

My power went out this morning for a few minutes, but when my computer came back the cursor alignment problem was fixed. So I'm starting to think it has something to do with one or more of the games I've been playing – maybe switching screen resolution or something.
- FUCK APPLEmonospaced
- Classic mono. Googling suggests it's a Retina-related resolution issue. I don't have a retina screen, though.i_monk
- typical how? you were the one blaming apple for thismonospaced
- And it turns out I was right to, because it's a resolution swapping issue in Yosemite.i_monk
- that sucks, you should post a thread about itmonospaced
- You're so defensive.i_monk
