    i just upgraded my late 2009 (refurbished) 27"iMac (16gb). I was having artifact-creating errors using chrome and firefox and have switched to safari right now. "so far so luck". i know my machine is older, but man—wish I could upgrade my video card—but I don't trust myself. I'll have to wait until i get a 5k iMac then. ...

    • did you buy good ram? or the cheapest. I have had that problem when i bought cheapo ram.err
    • nope. i got it from crucial. and generally though, my ram usage is way lower than before when i was on mavericks. i have heavy PS & LR usage. bravojaylarson
