Hi guys, I have been asked to design a website for one of my clients, tell me what you think...

I love single page sites, but I get irritated when they remove my browser's scrollbar. imho, you can only really get away with that sort of thing when you are totally overriding the machine scroll and going left/right and doing fancy things with zooms and such too.

I agree, the scrolling makes it feel clunky and unintuitive.
Nice otherwise.

I like the general style of the page with the cutout illustrations and slightly retro feel.
The repetition of the logo seems strange. I would go with one logo then perhaps reduce it in size when you scroll.
I would also look at some other font combinations but thats more of a personal thing.
Otherwise good start!

I don't like the bouncing buttons.

not a fan of the din / type relationships in general. things seem unplanned.

I like the color palette and the overall tonality of the website, including the parallax effects...but why does everything feel squeezed together and cramped? Why doesn't the menu bar spread across the top of the browser? And why is all the content so close and squeezed together like a can of sardines?

Needs rollover states on the thumbnails and buttons. It's easy to think they don't matter and rely on the cursor changing to a hand symbol, but they indicate to a user that something can be interacted with. To me, sites feel broken without rollover states. And they're far too easy to add in with hover states in the CSS to not do them.
Agree with futuremongolian about the bouncing buttons. Lose them.
On your galleries, modify the forwards/backwards buttons to just show the arrows. The larger rectangular background isn't needed and your hit state can still be that size without them. http://www.rockitfish.co.uk/gall…

The main logo at the top feels cramped in that black box. Make the black behind it bigger or maybe transparent background.
Are the titles in gray? They should be black too.
Too many colors in general - too many versions of green/teal, too many gray/black combos. Too many boxes behind type.
Don't like the paper texture. The red stripes make me think 'circus' and the paper looks too 'diy' which isn't a good match.
What's the grid here?:
